Unlock the Pump: If there's a locking mechanism, rotate or slide the tab or switch to the unlocked position. This action usually involves turning the tab or sliding it in the direction indicated by arrows.
Hold the Bottle Securely: Grasp the cosmetic container firmly to prevent it from tipping over or moving while you're operating the pump.
Press the Pump: With one hand holding the bottle and the other hand free, press down on the pump head with your thumb or fingers. Apply gentle and even pressure to avoid dispensing too much product at once.
Release Pressure: After dispensing the desired amount of product, release pressure on the pump head to stop dispensing. The pump mechanism should automatically reset to its original position.
Lock the Pump (Optional): If the pump has a locking mechanism and you want to prevent accidental dispensing, rotate or slide the locking tab or switch back to the locked position.
Close the Container: After use, make sure to securely close the cosmetic container to prevent leakage or contamination of the product.
