Injection Molding: The selected PP resin pellets are melted and injected into a mold cavity using an injection molding machine. The mold cavity is shaped to the specifications of the desired screw lid design, including the thread pattern, sealing surfaces, and overall dimensions.
Cooling and Solidification: Once the molten PP material is injected into the mold cavity, it undergoes cooling and solidification to form the desired shape of the screw lid. This stage is critical for ensuring the structural integrity and dimensional accuracy of the finished product.
Trimming and Finishing: After the PP material has solidified, the excess material, known as flash, is trimmed away from the screw lid using cutting or trimming tools. This process helps refine the final shape and appearance of the lid, ensuring a smooth and uniform finish.
Quality Control Inspection: The finished screw lids undergo rigorous quality control inspection to ensure they meet the specified standards for dimensional accuracy, structural integrity, and functional performance. Any defects or imperfections are identified and addressed at this stage.
Surface Treatment (Optional): Depending on the desired finish and functional requirements, the screw lids may undergo additional surface treatment processes such as polishing, coating, or printing. These treatments enhance the aesthetics, branding, and usability of the lids.
Packaging and Distribution: Once the screw lids have passed quality control inspection and any optional surface treatments have been applied, they are packaged and prepared for distribution to customers. Packaging materials such as cardboard boxes, plastic bags, or pallets are used to protect the lids during transportation and storage.
